Make Your Own Mug 9/12/2026

Come learn to make your new favorite coffee mug with your own two hands. In this two hour class you will learn the process of hand building pottery with slabs of clay. You can choose to decorate your mug with texture or patterns or keep it plain and simple. All materials will be provided and no skill or experience is needed. Just bring yourself, in comfy clothes that you may get messy, and enjoy the relaxed farm studio environment and creative process!

When you have finished your piece it will be glazed with your color of choice from studio glazes and fired in the next available studio firing. All finished pieces will be available for pick up approximately 8 weeks after our class date, with updates provided.

Your Questions, Answered

  • Yes! most of my classes unless otherwise stated are beginner friendly and I will be there to guide you & demonstrate every step of the way!

  • Just yourself! Everything needed for your class will be provided, just wear comfortable clothes that you will not mind getting messy in. Aprons are provided as well but there’s always a chance you end up with some clay on your clothes or shoes. Some types of clay may stain, so its best not to wear your favorite T & freshest kicks.

  • Absolutely! I would love to host you and your people for church or work outings, birthdays etc. Events range from 6-10 people with all students doing the same project. Most projects are accessible to ages 8+ and take about 2 - 3 hours to complete. For more information & scheduling please reach out directly via my contact page.

  • As a small business run by a busy mom, classes are limited and do sell out. If you would like to be the first to know when a new class is posted please subscribe to my monthly newsletter below where I will list each month’s workshops.

  • At this time I am not able to offer studio space for rent. Kiln rentals are available to students who have taken a class with me.
